A beautiful blue rosary made with 6mm antique
Czech glass hand polished Ave beads and 11mm
Pater beads from Blissful Garden Beads. The
hand-made lampwork beads with beautiful white
roses for Our Lady are capped with 4mm Swarovski
crystals in Dark Sapphire. The Sterling Silver
centerpiece is of two roses on the front, and a
Miraculous Medal on the back. The crucifix is a
hand cast reproduction in Sterling Silver from an
antique from the Philippines. This rosary is
wire-wrapped with Sterling Sliver wire. This is a one
of a kind rosary and will not be repeated.

| Wire-wrapped rosaries are like chain rosaries in that each bead is strung on an individual piece of wire and connected to the next. But in the wire-wrapping technique, the wire is wrapped back around itself several times. This way there is no opening in the loop, for the chain to come apart. The added expense of wire-wrapped rosaries is that the wrapping technique uses twice the amount of wire that traditional chain rosaries require. Additionally, the amount of time to wire wrap is also about double. |
